The PRISM team assists UCSF investigators with clinical research recruitment and coordination. Patients receiving pregnancy-related care at UCSF can connect with the PRISM research team to see if they're eligible to participate in a Maternal-Fetal Medicine research study.

Miriam Kuppermann, PhD
Miriam Kuppermann is a Professor in the Departments of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences and Epidemiology & Biostatistics. She is also Director of Preconception and Prenatal Interventions and the Transdisciplinary Postdoctoral Fellowship Program at the UCSF California Preterm Birth Initiative.

Mary E. Norton, MD
Mary E. Norton is a Perinatologist and Clinical Geneticist at UCSF Medical Center's Prenatal Diagnostic Center. She is also the Chair of the Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences Department at UCSF and a Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences.

Natalie Oman is the Program Manager for the Pregnancy Research Infrastructure and Support Management (PRISM) team. She has her MPH in Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and has spent several years performing public health work at various nonprofits, health departments, and medical centers. She is inspired by UCSF’s MFM & OBGYN providers, faculty, and patients on a daily basis and is incredibly grateful for the amazing team of PRISM CRCs who make the program possible.

Tiffany Lee is the Clinical Research Coordinator for various studies in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Network (MFMU) and recruits for various studies in the Outpatient Obstetric Clinic. Prior to this role, Tiffany was the clinical research coordinator of two other OBGYN studies at UCSF: the Smart Diaphragm study and the LACTIN-V study.

Katie Tick is a Clinical Research Coordinator working on studies within the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine focusing on prenatal genetic sequencing. Katie has an MPH in Sexuality, Sexual, and Reproductive health and is excited to further her experience, education, and participation in the field as part of this amazing CRC team.

Manju Cheenath is a Clinical Research Coordinator for a variety of studies that recruit and collect specimens on Labor and Delivery at UCSF Mission Bay. She has previously worked as a medical assistant and managing an anti sexual violence organization. She is excited to further her career in healthcare.

Eniola Owoyele is a clinical research coordinator for various studies that recruit on Labor and Delivery at UCSF Mission Bay. She is a former URI Intern who worked on the Advancements in Post-Partum Hemorrhaging Care Project (APPHC) based out of Madagascar and has worked with the UC Global Health Institute's Center for Gender and Health Justice. She is excited to further her career in reproductive medicine.

They are passionate about reproductive justice--taking a social determinants of health approach to patient support, education & research. In her spare time she enjoys making ceramics, swimming and biking in the Bay Area.
